Ethics Policy

Last updated July 20, 2026

A short, direct list of commitments that override growth, traffic, or revenue whenever they'd conflict.

We will not

  • Invent credentials, degrees, awards, staff, reviewers, or testimonials.
  • Present a personal opinion or belief as a scientifically proven fact.
  • Publish guaranteed-outcome claims about money, health, or spiritual practice.
  • Diagnose a named or described individual with a mental-health condition, personality disorder, or clinical label.
  • Publish personalised medical, legal, or investment instructions in place of a licensed professional.
  • Copy, closely paraphrase, or lightly rewrite another outlet's original reporting.
  • Use manipulative urgency, fake scarcity, countdown timers, or fabricated social proof anywhere on the site.
  • Exploit tragedy, grief, or a crisis for traffic.
  • Accept payment in exchange for favourable editorial coverage.

We will

  • Disclose commercial relationships clearly (see our Advertising and Affiliate disclosures).
  • Correct errors visibly rather than quietly (see our Corrections Policy).
  • Label opinion, belief, and personal experience distinctly from evidence-based claims.
  • Decline to cover expert-review-required topics until a genuinely qualified reviewer is in place, rather than publish them under a generic disclaimer.
  • Respect reader privacy and avoid unnecessary data collection (see our Privacy Policy).

Handling mistakes

We expect to get things wrong sometimes — every publication does. What this policy commits us to is not hiding it: a visible correction, a clear account of what changed, and an accessible way for any reader to flag a problem.
