Affiliate Disclosure

Current status

At launch, Modern Self Journal does not run any affiliate links or earn affiliate commissions. This page exists so the policy is in place and visible before any such relationship begins.

How affiliate links will be handled if introduced

If we add affiliate links in the future — for example, to a book, tool, or product genuinely relevant to an article — the following rules apply:

• Any affiliate link is disclosed in the article itself, not only on this general policy page.
• You never pay more by clicking an affiliate link; the commission comes from the merchant, not from you.
• A product's inclusion in an article is based on our own editorial judgement of its usefulness, not on commission size, and a commercial relationship never overrides a genuine limitation or downside we've identified.
• We do not recommend a product we haven't genuinely evaluated just because it offers an affiliate programme.
